The Local Area
Jacarilla
Jacarilla is a small town with just over 1,600 residents and is set amongst the orange trees of the beautiful Vega Baja countryside in the Alicante province. It takes its name from the medieval songs of knights of armour which fought against the Moorish empire. Jacarilla celebrates its main fiestas in September to commemorate 'La Virgin del Belen' the patron of the town, when floral offerings and processions fill the town with sound and colour to honour the Virgin.
Heredades
Heredades also lies to the south of Alicante, a beautiful city full of history and fascinating architecture. It is a charming village, close to Torrevieja, which is a lively coastal town with a wide range of leisure activites.
The lovely beaches of Guardamar with their dunes, where you can relax in the sun or enjoy numerous water sports in their clear waters, are also about 20-25 minutes drive.
Heredades is a very traditional Spanish village, which has quietly kept itself away from the hustle and bustle of tourist resorts. It is next to the town of Rojales, with all of its essential services and facilities to make your stay comfortable.

Golf Courses
There are a number of world-class golf courses in the Jacarilla area. They are all within a thirty minute drive from the apartments and cater for every level of golfing expertise.
The Costa Blanca and Costa Calida have become one of the leading destinations for playing golf. The good weather plays a key role in this, as it enables people to play golf all the year round. Furthermore, some of the courses in Costa Blanca and Costa Calida and have been designed by leading PGA Tour Professionals (and world-renowned golfers!) such as Seve Ballesteros and Jose-Maria Olazabal.
This makes the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida and major attraction for golfers from all over the world, both for amateurs and professionals alike.
The golf courses in the area offer fantastic facilities and are set in beautiful surroundings.
Local Towns
In the local area of Jacarilla there are number of charming towns and villages that you can visit such as Orihuela, Benejazar, Bagastro and Aloradi, to name justa few. All of the towns offer unique experiences to their visitors ranging from excellent shopping experiences to beautiful building artwork.
The Coast
A short twenty minute drive to Guardamar del Segura you are welcomed to the wonderful Spanish coastline. There are a number of water activities available at the surrounding marinas which include jet-skis and sailing. South of Guardamar is Torrevieja, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and the beautiful Mar Menor.
Nature
The scenery in the Jacarilla area is one of the most impressive throughout Spain, and is a must see. There are a number of interesting and breath-taking walks to take in the area, enjoying the views of the coast and the surrounding countryside.
